Management of the physical and digital photographic collection of photographer Fabrício Brambatti, composed of negatives accumulated throughout his professional career, focusing on preservation, organization, and expansion of access, in accordance with the specificities of the medium and good archival practices.
The physical collection underwent cleaning procedures and was stored in appropriate materials, ensuring its stability and long-term preservation. Simultaneously, the digital files—derived directly from the negatives—were systematically organized, guaranteeing a logical, accessible structure compatible with the original collection.
Mirroring was established between the organizational structures of the physical and digital collections, ensuring direct correspondence between the media and enabling the integration and cross-referencing of information. As a complementary tool, a visual map of the collection was developed, guiding the location and understanding of the documentary sets.
The combination of actions results in a more stable, secure, and functional collection, suitable for continuous consultation and activation, preserving its integrity and enhancing its artistic value.
